Defibrillator and CPR Training Event

Members of the club attended a Defibrillator and CPR awareness training session at Middleton-in-Teesdale on Wednesday 14th February 2018. First Responder Sue Bainbridge provided the training which included a practical demonstration and hands-on session of AEDs (automated external defibrillators). These pieces of equipment have proven to save lives and are therefore an invaluable addition to health and safety provision. Sue taught the essential skills that a AED operator needs and provided club members the confidence to know what to do in an emergency. The club aims to organise additional 2-hour awareness traiing sessions in the near future.
