Ripon 10 mile

Three members of Teesdale Athletic Club contested the Ripon 10-mile race on Sunday 20th May. Arguably one of the most scenic multi-terrain events in England, the route is undulating mainly on footpaths, through parkland and woodland travelling through the heart of Studley Roger Deer Park, emerging at the obelisk before returning to Hell Wrath Nature Reserve. This excellent event is hosted by Ripon Runners and supported by a small army of marshals and volunteers who provided great support and encouragement especially at the each of the much-welcomed water stations. Finishing first for the club was Sean Williams in 1:30:27, followed shortly afterwards with an equally impressive time was Andrew Crawley 1:36:20 and first female representing the club, Barbara Crawley in 1:44:30 (unofficial times).

This event is included in the Club Challenges Club Championships, updates to the Leader Boards are available to view here.
