The Teesdale Athletic Club Kinninvie Figure of Eight is a 16.3 km (10.12 mi) figure of eight circuit starting and finishing at Teesdale Leisure Centre.

• Starting at Teesdale Leisure Centre, head out onto Harmire Road and turn left towards Bede Road (A67).
• Turn left here heading towards the petrol garage. Take the left road at the petrol station roundabout heading up the hill towards Stainton Grove.
• Continue up the hill passing the first junction on your left to Stainton Village until you reach the second junction.
• Turning left heading now into Stainton Village up a gentle climb.
• Continue through the village staying on the road into open countryside.
• At the cross road, cross with caution straight ahead.
• Follow this straight road until you reach the next T-junction at about the 7 km mark.
• Now turn right and begin the small ascent towards Kinninvie.
• At the junction turn right onto Moor Lane (B6279). Continue along Moor Lane turning right at the cross road onto Dent Gate Lane.
• Once you have turned right (about the 11 km mark) continue to long steady ascent passing the cross road at Cedar Lodge.
• Do not turn here, instead continue straight ahead on Dent Gate Lane. This will take you back down to the main junction.
• Turn left here back onto Harmire Road, passing the golf club on your right hand side.
• Finally, continue along Harmire Road turning left back towards the Teesdale Leisure Centre.
